Known supported & unsupported plugins/addons/extensions for Shopify & WooCommerce

Custom plugins (AKA addons or extensions) for Shopify & WooCommerce can be installed to add additional functionality over what is included in those platforms as standard.

Often, custom plugins will work well out of the box with Breww. However, sometimes they don't. Sometimes, they change the data in a way that Breww can work with, but sometimes, they make it impossible for Breww to process orders.

Breww does not officially support the use of any custom plugins

We cannot guarantee that Breww's Shopify & WooCommerce integrations will work if you have any plugins installed (especially those that change how orders are processed or the underlying order/product data).

Despite no plugins being "officially" supported, we are starting to maintain a list of those known to work (and those known not to). Your own mileage may vary.

Working

Comments

Yes

Known to have worked in the past, but cannot be guaranteed. Supports ensuring deliveries/collections are scheduled to the correct "delivery method" and customer-chosen delivery/collection dates being applied to Breww.

Social Supermarket

No

This platform results in order data that doesn't "add up" and so is incompatible with Breww. We get told things like a product is Β£10, plus tax at 20% and a total of Β£12.23 (when it should be Β£12).

Printful

Yes

Breww will import these products, even though they will be fulfilled directly by Printful. We recommend mapping them to a service product in Breww as they don't require your stock.

Teemill

Yes

Breww will import these products, even though they will be fulfilled directly by Printful. We recommend mapping them to a service product in Breww as they don't require your stock.

ο»ΏPW Gift Cardsο»Ώ

Pro only

Only the "Pro" version is supported. The non-pro version doesn't provide us with the required API data to import orders that are "paid" for using gift cards.

ο»ΏYITH Gift Cardsο»Ώ

Premium only

Only the "Premium" version is known to have worked in the past, but cannot be guaranteed.

ο»ΏSmart Couponο»Ώ

Partially

Often this plugin works without a problem although we have seen some examples of issues.

ο»ΏGift Cardsο»Ώ

Yes

Known to have worked in the past, but cannot be guaranteed.

ο»ΏPre-ordersο»Ώ

Yes

Known to have worked in the past, but cannot be guaranteed.

Yes

Known to have worked in the past, but cannot be guaranteed.

ο»ΏWoo Subscriptionsο»Ώ

Yes

Reported to be working by customers, but cannot be guaranteed.

ο»ΏWPOS (OpenPOS)ο»Ώ

Partially

Generally known to work, but this plugin has bugs with discount handling and VAT. We've attempted to work around this to keep it working as much as possible with Breww, but there are still sometimes issues and we suggest avoiding this plugin.

Not supported

Breww needs to understand the order statuses of WooCommerce orders to determine how these are mapped to Breww, such as whether the order is fulfilled and/or paid. Custom statuses, unfortunately, render this not possible. We recommend avoiding custom statuses in WooCommerce and instead managing orders within Breww instead.

Bundle/Mix & Match products

If you're using a plugin to allow customers to buy mix & match products, these tend to be imported with a line for the parent product (the mix & match product itself) and then each component as a separate line on the order. For this to work smoothly, you'll want to create a "Introduction to productsο»Ώ " product in Breww and map this to the parent product in your integration product mapping.
