Batch Schedule
If you have followed the Planned batchesο»Ώ and Vessel plansο»Ώ help guide and have selected a 'Planned start date', then you will be able to see this planned batch on your batch schedule. You will also be able to plan and create batches directly from the batch schedule. The batch schedule usually includes three tabs: your Brewery, Contract brewers and Planned packagings.
If you have more than one site with a brewing system and at least one vessel, these will also have a tab on the batch schedule:
By selecting your brewery site, you will see the batches you produce yourself. Here, you can edit the schedule for your planned batches, including the use of your brewing system, vessel residency, and equipment usage. This will block out vessels for use so you can accurately manage your production scheduling.
You can create a batch directly from the batch schedule by clicking the date you wish to start the batch in line with the brewing system you are using and then selecting Create new batch.
This will take you to the main 'New batch' screen, where you can follow the same process as outlined in the Planned batchesο»Ώ help guide.
Once you have created your planned batches, the planned brewing system, vessel, and equipment will display as in use on the schedule. If you hover over the scheduled use, you will see the details surrounding the batch.
Any planned vessel use will be displayed with '(planned vessel use)', and you will be able to rearrange your schedule simply by dragging or extending the blocks on the batch schedule.
Once the batch has been started and transferred into a vessel, you will no longer be able to amend the vessel's usage on the batch schedule (for that batch), and the use details will change from 'planned vessel use' to 'used planned vessel'. However, any future vessel usage for that batch, such as a brite tank to be used after fermentation, can still be adjusted from the batch schedule.
On the Batch schedule, there is a tab for Contract brewers; this will show the 'Contract brewed by 3rd party' and 'Collaboration at 3rd party' batches you have scheduled. Once a batch has been planned with a 'Planned start date', this will show on this schedule, where you can adjust the planned date simply by dragging the batch on the schedule.
Any scheduled planned packagings will show on the 'Planned packagings' tab. This will include planned packagings from all batch types; the planned packaging details can be checked by simply hovering over the planned packaging in the schedule. If the scheduled date needs to be changed, then you will be able to do this by simply selecting the planned packaging and dragging it on the schedule. You can edit the planned packaging by clicking on the planned packaging.
By having a Planned start date selected for a planned Contract brewed by 3rd party batch, as well as planned packaging, then this will block out the duration between the start date and the packaging on the production schedule.
