Configuring Breww

3min

πŸ‘‹ This article is part of our Getting Started guides. If you are new to Breww and have found this guide without first reading our 🧰 Getting Started Guideο»Ώ, you will want to head there first. Not new to Breww? πŸš€ This guide might not be quite right for you as it is aimed at your initial setup.

Your Breww Settings

Breww automatically configures your settings to a sensible default; however, there are certain areas in Breww that you can change and configure to work for your business, for example, your invoicing settings. Within these settings, you can also upload a logo to show on your business documentation that is generated by Breww, for example, your invoices, delivery notes, credit notes, etc. You can upload your logo by heading to Settings->Order/invoice settings->Invoicing details.

We recommend browsing through each page of our settings to help understand how your account is currently configured and to see if there are any settings you would like to change.

Many of the different options covered in the settings have their own help guides in the community! So, if you are unsure how a setting works, we recommend searching this in the community to see if this is covered! If you are unable to find what you need, feel free to raise a support ticket, and we will be able to assist you!

Deciding how to work with non-returnable containers

In Breww, you will be able to choose which barcodes should be presented on non-returnable stock labels. Non-returnable stock label barcodes represent the unique non-returnable code generated for that individual container or packaging. However, you can choose to configure this barcode to represent the stock's product and batch, which, when scanned, will assign any available non-returnable stock for that product and batch.

You can change your settings to use Product/batch barcodes rather than non-returnable number barcodes by heading to Settings -> Label & printing settings , scrolling down to Non-returnable & smallpack stock labels, and setting the Barcode content option to Use the product and batch combination barcode on stock labels.

βœ… Done! You have now completed the Getting ready to go live section of the 🧰 Getting Started Guideο»Ώ! The next section starts with Breww Trade Storeο»Ώ.
